Day 3

Notes

Day 1
0 8h00 depart from Johannesburg with Africa Explore Tours and Safaris and steep over at the iron mining town of Olifantshoek en-route to Kalahari Gemsbok National Park.

Day 2
Early morning -we continue our trip to Kalahari Gemsbok National Park-, visiting the prosperous fruit and wine town of Upington situated on the banks of the Gariep River (previously named Orange River), and settle in at Tweerivieren (where two rivers meet) camp, inside Kalahari Gemsbok National Park, where we overnight. If time allows, we take a short game drive in the park.

Day 3
Game viewing in Kalahari Gemsbok National Park, in search for the cheetah, gemsbok (oryx) and other animals grazing and hunting in the red sand dunes. Overnight at Tweerivieren Camp.

Day 4
Depart to Augrabies Falls National Park. Arriving, we settle in and take a walk to the Falls and do game viewing. Overnight at Augrabies. Dinner in a restaurant.

Day 5
Game viewing and relax in Augrabies Falls.

Day 6
Heading towards Johannesburg and sleep over at the town of Kimberley (South Africa's Diamond mecca).

Day 7
Return to Johannesburg - arrival time +- 16h00.
